Be Prepared!
This ABRUP Symposium will provide accurate, up-to-date information on the biology and management of urban pests and insights into emerging challenges in their management.
The ABRUP symposium aims to address the reduction in available biological teaching expertise and an overall decrease in training on pest biology which currently exists.
Who Should Attend - and Why
Whatever your role in urban pest management - this day of expert briefing will be of immense value to you. In a single, one-day event, you will gain a better understanding of how biology and pest management interact. We invite you to participate in this professional development event, meet the authorities, broaden your network, make new contacts, identify the best sources of expertise and information, earn CPD points and importantly, enjoy doing all this!
Aims of the Event
To assist pest managers to:
-
Provide more effective pest management services by learning the most up to date information on the biology of pests from acknowledged experts;
- Provide financial support for further initiatives to support and promote safe and effective urban and commercial pest management.
